Peptide Filtration

Peptide Filtration helps avoid negative effects such as developing immunogenicity, a loss of sensitivity to the peptide or worse by reducing contamination. For filtration, you may use:

0.22µm Sterile Syringe Filter (PVDF or PES)

PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) – Low protein binding, high chemical resistance.

PES (Polyethersulfone) – Fast flow rate, low protein binding.

Why?

Unfiltered peptide (including HGH) solutions may contain aggregated proteins and rubber or glass particulates from vials/stoppers. Even pharma-grade HGH can have aggregation issues over time or due to improper handling. Filtration removes these aggregates.

To learn how to reconstitute peptides, refer to our guide or message me at support@enhancedbb.com or message me through the preferred communication method as part of your membership.

  1. Draw HGH/peptide solution into a sterile syringe.
  2. Attach the filter to the syringe.
  3. Slowly push HGH/peptide through the filter into a sterile, particle-free vial (BELOW).
  4. Store in a refrigerator (2-8°C) immediately after filtration.

Use particle free certified vials, e.g:

Why?

Problem: Standard glass vials and stoppers can release micro-particles into peptide/HGH solutions.

Low-quality vials (e.g. from UGL sources) often have endotoxin and particulate contamination, leading to the possibility of immune reactions. Rubber stopper shedding contaminates the solution with small particles. Silicone-coated stoppers can contribute to protein aggregation. Protein aggregation increases the risk of antibody formation, leading to risks of immunogenicity, desensitization and reduced peptide/HGH effectiveness over time. Contaminants in UGL HGH are significantly higher due to poorer purification standards.

DO NOT SHAKE HGH → Causes protein unfolding and aggregation. Use Bacteriostatic Water → Prevents bacterial growth and extends shelf life. Refrigerate (2-8°C) after reconstitution → HGH is temperature-sensitive. Avoid air exposure → HGH oxidizes easily; minimize vial air exposure.

Less injection site irritation (removing particulates reduces inflammation).

Lower immunogenicity (less antibody formation, better resensitization).

Longer active lifespan of HGH (less protein degradation).
